Industrial Service Provider 

Position Summary:

The business development and execution of services in support of Graybar Canada’s Industrial Automation group.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Work with Automation Specialists, Account Managers and customers to promote and facilitate Rockwell Automation and Graybar Canada services.
  • Perform standard Installed Base Evaluations in conjunction with Rockwell Automation.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out Assessments in conjunction with Rockwell Automation.
  • Perform Variable Frequency Drive start-up assistance.
  • Perform standard Arc Flash Assessments & customer Arc Flashing Training.
  • Perform Power Quality Studies using Fluke power analyzers.
  • Drive Rockwell Automation’s repair and remanufacturing business through business development efforts.
  • Look for additional sales opportunities while at customer site, in coordination with Automation Specialists and Account Managers.
  • Conduct business in an ethical and safe manner, following Graybar Canada and OSHA standards.
  • Additional work activities as the scope of this position expands over time.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years hands-on work experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Engineering Technologies CET (required).
  • Exposure to industrial lockout tag out standards and best practices an asset.
  • Exposure to industrial Arc Flash standards and best practices an asset.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently in a target-oriented environment.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person.
  • Travel required.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.
