What You Will Do With Us

As the Commercial Sales Manager (Commercial Contractors) in the territory stretching from Ottawa to Oshawa, you will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of the field sales team within the region. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will collaborate with the various sales departments within Westburne. 

How You Will Thrive With Us

  • Sales Support, you will identify sales objectives, strategies and action plan to improve short and long-term sales and earnings. Assist sales representatives in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
  • You will make a personal impact, you will perform sales activities on major accounts in consultation with the Commercial Sales team. Take ownership of large strategic customers.
  • People Management, you will manage and develop the sales and support teams. Provide quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  • Forecasting, you will develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all the company’s products and forecast revenue streams. Interpret short and long-term effects of sales strategies on operating profit.
  • Collaborating, you will work with the Commercial Sales team to develop sales strategies to improve market share with all commercial product lines.
  • You will be a Brand Ambassador, by building brand recognition while supporting sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences. You will consistently ensure that our corporate image is reflected.

Who Are You

  • You have a minimum of five years of experience, including at least three years in a management capacity or a combination.
  • You have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Distribution and or Electrical knowledge will be considered a strong asset.
  • You have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You have the ability to impart knowledge, provide training and motivate staff.
  • You are available for overnight travel within your territotry and nationally to attend meetings.
