We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Connected Lighting Sales & Technical Support Specialist, who will be part of a driven sales team targeting sales and project opportunities in the greater GTA area. More specifically, this role is responsible for:

  • Promoting Liteline products with an emphasis on the OnCloud product category and connected home technology
  • Site support for commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Internal and external project and opportunity consultation
  • Opportunity and product category development reporting within CRM
  • Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers
  • Effectively positioning and understanding the features, benefits, and value of our products and passing that knowledge on to customers
  • Identifying and channeling sales and quotes opportunities
  • Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales
  • Selling to and maintaining positive and effective relationships with customers
  • Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales
  • Ensuring sales and support goals are met or exceeded
  • Collaborating with internal departments to deliver customer priorities, contact requirements, solutions, and customized value propositions
  • Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • 2-3 years of experience in outside sales with an established track record of growth (Lighting or electrical experience is an asset)
  • Experience in sales, home automation, and networking
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies to attract, grow and maintain relationships
  • Sales and technical skills including but not limited to quotations, relationship development, project management, and product selling
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Advanced negotiation and troubleshooting skills, ability to find and win new opportunities
  • Passionate about selling and service, creating value for customers
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate technical data, features, and benefits
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Teams
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Possess a tech-savvy attitude
  • Experience and knowledge of controls systems are preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time
