What you will be doing: 

This position is responsible for servicing customer requirements, questions and concerns in a prompt and efficient manner while acting as a liaison between customers and Gerrie Electric. The incumbent of this role will also actively promote and drive business through the following: 

 

Promptly address customer needs with regards to sourcing, pricing, and availability of material 

Growing and maintaining relationships with customers (we have a lot of repeat customers) 

Promote and increase business through proactive calls 

Receive, enter and generate customer orders in the system in an efficient manner  

Work in conjunction with and provide support to Account Managers  

Provide accurate quotations, pricing and availability to customers as required  

Expedite and follow-up on orders and back orders  

Process customer credits (defectives products, etc.) in a timely manner 

Provide back up to Counter Sales staff, as required  

 

What you bring to the table: 

Post-secondary education from an Electrical related discipline  

3+ years’ experience in Sales (Electrical industry preferred)  

Must have the personality and drive to sell and succeed  

Strong communication and relationship building skills 

Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines  

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
