Who we are looking for:

This position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries; selling and supplying electrical products that meet their needs. The incumbent will answer customer e-mails and inbound phone calls concerning quotations, sales order processing, confirmation of manufacturer shipment details and tracking information. The incumbent will research catalogs, publications, and the internet to provide product specifications where applicable. The incumbent maintains a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and staff. This role supplements the Counter Service team as required.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Basic technical electrical knowledge required.
  • 2 years of customer service experience required.
  • 2 years of related electrical industry experience an asset.
  • Warehousing and logistics experience an asset.
  • Related post-secondary education or credentials an asset (eg. Accounting, Finance, Marketing, MIS, IT, Project Management, Supply Chain or electrical field training).
  • Proficiency with Epicor P21 an asset.
  • Full vaccination status is a requirement*
