Senior Technical Inside Sales Representative
 
SUMMARY
Review customer specifications and requirements to select and price equipment, provide quotes, answer customer inquiries, assist in sales presentations and closing orders.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct support to existing customers to identify their needs and help solve their problems or complaints. Work with Field Sales and internal resources to develop new customers within his/her defined market.
Promote team efforts in selling by acting as the internal advocate and liaison for TECO-Westinghouse Motors (Canada) Inc. (TWMI) Field Sales and customers. Internally coordinate TWMI's Sales approach across all parties in the procurement process:  EPC, OEM, Distributor, and User.  Conduct correspondence and negotiations with customers and TWMI.

Providing Customer Service, inside sales and technical support to our National Canadian customers for TWMI’s motor and control products
Train and provide technical guidance to less experienced teammates
Utilizing TWMI’s SAP system in order to perform stocks checks & order entry functions and to create reports and verify order entries on a daily basis
Providing and implementing ideas to further the growth and development of TWMI’s presence in the marketplace
Reviewing customer generated general RFQ’s, providing quotations per the company guidelines
Interpreting and review of customer supplied RFQ’s, specifications, application or engineering documents and details. Understanding of related NEMA MG1, CSA or other specifications for electric motors.  Compiling the required information and preparing a quotation from the factory price guidelines or requesting required Engineering quotation from factory.
Working with the project management personnel offering support and guidance when needed

Prepare the technical document that transmits the customer order to engineering
Maintain negotiation records, cost and price. Negotiate motor inquiries. Gain proficiency in the order entry process.
Assist with customer presentations and assemble complete technical/commercial proposal data on time. Provide marketing literature to customers as needed.
Gain product knowledge on all products
Follow sales plans and strategies
Be cognizant of antitrust laws and company policies
Become familiar with customers business practices and procedures as they relate to his/her duties
Comply with all Company policies, including Company ISO 9001 Standards and Company Safety procedures
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
Other functions as required (non-essential functions)
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 5-7 years related experience and /or training with electric motors or Industrial Products; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer knowledge required
Microsoft Office proficiency is a must
 
SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standards, operating and maintenance instructions, white papers and procedure manuals
Great verbal & written communication skills
Must be legally able to work in Canada, without sponsorship.

We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Edmonton, Alberta location for a highly motivated team player as a Warehouse Associate.  The Warehouse Associate is responsible for organizing the daily workload, making sure pertinent orders are completed in a timely matter (including cutting and picking of sales orders), noting any discrepancies and advising the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor and helping in maintaining a clean, safe and organized environment.

What Your Day May Look Like:

Ensure orders are correctly picked and cut.
Report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
Adhere to final inspection and shipping procedures.
Follow all safety regulations and report unsafe situations to Manager or Supervisor
Participate in inventory preparation and completion of company inventory counts.
Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need to Succeed:

Two (2) years broad warehouse/distribution experience or a combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures.
Ability to load and unload materials.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs, bend, squat and stand.
Ability to manage an inventory system.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Be aware of your surroundings including mental, physical, visual and environment conditions.
