Industry Segment Specialist - Food and Packaging (Quebec City)

Job Description

  • Develop relationships with upper management of your customers to ensurethat we understand their business, their needs in order to better develop customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer needs and develop account plans for selected customers by you and your manager
  • Establish annual sales budget through account development
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and develop target accounts
  • Probe and identify top accounts specific to the Food and Packaging Industry Segment
  • Interface with various support and operations departments to address client needs
  • Communicate customer feedback and requirements to internal departments
  • Provide support for Food and Packaging accounts, and serve as a "go-to" for regional account reps within your specific territories
  • Work across the organization and influence internal and external contracts
  • Timely and accurate completion of all sales administration task

Qualifications

  • University Degree and/or College diploma required (mechanical, electrical, process, and/or electronics engineering)
  • Post graduate studies in the area of sales or marketing is advantageous
  • Specific industry experience in pneumatic, process control, automation, electrical/mechanical sales is strongly preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of the Food and Packaging environment is beneficial and desired
  • Proficiency with MS-Office, and sales management software is an asset
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with proven ability to influence and communicate with all levels of management
  • Excellent presentation skills pertaining to key product lines are required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation available for business purposes
