Franklin Empire Inc. is a family owned business specializing in the distribution of electrical, automation and lighting products and systems for new construction, renovation and maintenance of industrial, commercial and residential buildings.
The company is looking for a Customer Service Representative for its head office in Montreal.
This person will be responding to the supervisor of the corresponding division.
The main responsibilities for this position are:
- Coordinate and ensure the delivery of projects to meet targets;
- Serve existing or prospective clients with professionalism and enthusiasm;
- Take responsibility and makes follow-ups on all aspects of projects, quotes and opportunities that arise;
- Take customers orders while trying to increase sales and profits;
- Respond to quotes and provide technical documentation or information;
- Verifies and informs customers of overdue orders (B.O.);
- Order goods directly from our suppliers when required;
- Coordinate customer change requests;
- Negotiate prices when necessary, based on certain pre-established scales;
- Suggest alternative or related products as required;
- Maintain and promote good relationships with our client partners to ensure customer satisfaction and retention;
- Obtain credit approvals;
- Promptly resolve client issues;
- Participate in team meetings;
- Identify and proactively implement opportunities for process improvement.
The main requirements for this position are:
- 1 to 2 years of experience;
- Sales skills;
- Interpersonal skills;
- Sense of urgency;
- Fluency in both French and English;
- Computer literate;
- Courtesy and diplomacy;
- Knowledge of electrical products an asset.
