Sales Representative - Wireless Lighting and Controls Solutions

Audacy Advanced Wireless Solutions is the lighting and controls design division of IDEAL Industries Corporation. We are bringing leading edge technologies to the Canadian market to help organizations, big and small, meet their energy savings goals. Audacy is an award winning family of products that continues to grow since its introduction in 2015. We are in need of a Sales Professional to join our team as we continue to expand our footprint in the Lighting Controls, HVAC Controls and Low Voltage Lighting space in Canada.

Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager in Ajax, Ontario, you will be selling the product across Canada, with prime emphasis on the Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal markets.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our network of sales agents, VARs, distributors, and end users, to expand our sales in the Canadian market
• Meet or exceed sales and margin objectives
• Make valued contributions to the company's strategies for success, and the marketing and sales tactics needed to implement those strategies
• Represent the Audacy Wireless Solutions business unit at trade shows
• Work as an integral part of the team that includes marketing, engineering, and product development to ensure growth in this highly competitive industry
• Travel will be required, approximately 60% of the time

Qualifications

• Business degree or diploma
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, with experience in a technical sales environment an asset (lighting controls, building controls, or general construction sales)
• High energy, results driven
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, assertive, confident
