In collaboration with the VP Engineering, Marketing, R&D and Quality, being a Engineer- Project manager at Ouellet means putting your leadership and rigor to good use by taking charge of various company projects while actively participating in the technical execution.


Your responsibilities:

  • Act in multidisciplinary teams as a project manager;
  • Establish the scope and deliverables in collaboration with internal clients;
  • Rigorously monitor enterprise project teams, product development, distributed product introductions and major engineering changes;
  • Assume the role of technical lead on engineering projects and execute technical activities;
  • Organize and lead project team meetings in our various locations;
  • Ensure the follow-up of the project management processes in effect in the company;
  • Ensure the efficiency of the project teams;
  • Present project status to management.


Your profile :

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering;
  • Be a member of the OIQ;
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing field;
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrate leadership, rigor, initiative and autonomy;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French;
  • Travel required from time to time. (L'Islet, Lévis and occasionally in Sherbrooke and outside the country);
  • Understanding of ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX) is an asset.
