We are currently seeking to fill a Divisional Manager – Data Communications Manager position for our Head Office in Surrey, BC.

EBH Managers are entrepreneurial, exhibit excellent leadership skills, and are strong communicators. Core values of Collaboration, Teamwork and Initiative are vital to the success of our Managers. This role oversees the Data Communications Division and provides support to our Data Communications sales staff to ensure efficient and effective customer service. This position also works closely with the VP, Sales to support a productive sales environment.

The Data Communications Manager is responsible for ensuring that customers receive a positive EBH experience in order to drive profitable sales. They oversee and provide support to Data Communications sales staff to ensure efficient and effective Customer Service. This position works closely with the VP, Sales to support a productive sales environment.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to:

  • Works with VP, Sales and Suppliers to develop sales plans
  • Creates and maintains positive relationship with customers and branch staff
  • Identifies market opportunities, develops new customer base and improves customer relations were opportunities exist
  • Develop and facilitates branch sales representatives and customer training sessions
  • Provides guidance to sales staff on sales process stages, marketing, customer and supplier relations
  • Oversees staffing requirements for the Division as well as the performance management of direct reports
  • Conducts yearly sales budgeting for Data Communications products

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A post- secondary diploma or degree in a relevant area or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or working towards obtaining it
  • 10 + years of sales experience
  • 5 + years of experience in the Data Communications industry
  • 3 + years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Ability to drive to and from client meetings and customer job sites
