Reporting to the Inside Sales Supervisor, the responsibilities of the position include:
Responding to customer requests (via phone and email)
Evaluating and understanding the needs and requirements of customers
Proposing possible solutions and alternatives to the customers’ requests/issues
Preparing "day-to-day" value quotes
Processing orders
Working as a team with the other inside salesmen as well as the quotations department
Facilitating the communication between the customer, the outside sales representative, technicians and the manufacturers’ representatives
Promoting (above all) the products of our manufacturers
Finding and proposing alternative products to the competition
Making sure that every form of contact with the customer is a positive experience while always focusing on the long term loyalty of the customer
Desired Skills and Experience:
Must have good knowledge base of industrial electrical product lines (T&B, Hubbell, Wieland, Sprecher and Schuh, Eaton, Mersen, Sylvania, Omron - or equivalent lines)
3-5 years experience in sales of electrical industrial products
Knowledge of motor control products (automation a plus)
