Western Region Sales Manager - Lighting
As the RSM in our Lighting group you are responsible for developing and implementing selling strategies across Western Canada; you will work with your team of agents focusing on driving results through specifier, contractor, and end-user relationships. You are an excellent communicator, a strategic thinker, and enjoy working independently. Educated and technically minded, you have a track record of sales growth, ideally in lighting or a related specification-oriented industry.

Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Develop and Maintain Relationships a. Develop a strong network of contractors, end users and specfiers b. Apply product features and benefits to provide value add solutions c. Develop strong channel relationships and deliver high service to them 2. Grow Sales a. Apply product features and benefits to provide value add solutions to customers b. Expand shelf space in the channel for stock goods c. Support price realization in the marketplace d. Understand market segments and verticals opportunities and penetrate them e. Manage the sales cylce on projects from specification to successful order placement f. Execute promotional, training and new product initiatives g. Collaborate with other Hubbell Canada LP sales people in other Business Units to expand sales 3. Be a Resource to our Customers a. Learn the competitive advantages of our products and leverage them to win business b. Undertand the competitive strenghts and weaknesses c. Provide High Service and Fast response to customer enquiries d. Planning initiatives with channel partners 4. Respresent Hubbell Canada professionally a. Integrity and Ethics b. Professional Image under all circumstances c. Participate and/or lead in local industry associations, tradeshows and events 5. Metrics and Reporting a. Daily, weekly, monthly reporting as required b. Performance to quota planning and execution Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university Minimum of either years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
