General Role:
The Vice President of Standards and Regulation is a member of EFC’s senior leadership team and reports directly to the President and works closely with members, industry influencers and staff. The individual is responsible for leadership and management of all standards-related issues pertaining to the EFC product sections, task groups and committees. The incumbent reviews, advises and influences the development of codes & standards in the best interest of EFC members and Canadian consumers. This individual ensures that the appropriate action is taken on all proposed standards, reports, or technical documents which could affect the interests of members. The incumbent will also maintain and develop vital contacts and relations with other associations, standards development organizations, government representatives, members of the media, and member companies.
