Project Coordinator-(Distribution)

Independent Electric Supply is a full line Electrical Distributor. For over 95 years we have been providing Power Distribution and Lighting solutions for the Commercial, Industrial and Residential markets.

We are currently recruiting for a Project Co-ordinator within the Power Distribution area of our business.

Duties will include:

• Placing orders with our manufacturing / vendor partners
• Setting up project status files
• Liaising with contractors, sales management and vendors with respect to the releasing of material, project status and issue resolution
• Maintaining a channel status report on your projects which includes the timing of billings

Core Competencies:

• Ideally 2 years’ experience in an electrical environment with a good understanding of the power distribution business….this could include inside sales
• Critical thinker
• Above average communications and computer skills
• Highly organized
• Work well under pressure
