Sales Director - Quebec & Eastern Canada

We are looking for someone who will be able to ensure the efficiency and profitability of all products for their region by optimally motivating their team and the manufacturing agents for whom they are responsible.

In order to support growth in Quebec and Eastern Canada, the person must take steps to ensure quality representation that will allow Leviton to achieve maximum profitability and market share through the achievement of sales, marketing and customer satisfaction objectives.

The Sales Director will work closely with the marketing, customer service, quotations, and finance team in developing advertising and marketing programs, developing prices for projects and quotations, participating in project closure strategies for major and critical projects and sharing important information in all matters relating to the financial aspects of our clients.

The person will also be responsible for managing sales and business development in Quebec and Eastern Canada. This includes the approval of product prices, involvement in strategic planning committees, development of strategic plans and the annual sales budget.

Success factors 

• University degree in business or marketing, with a minimum of ten (10) years related experience
• Self-employed entrepreneur, motivated by a deep passion in the success of the company
• Excellent communication skills and a thoughtful and collaborative approach to sales
• Entrepreneurial orientation with a determination to succeed in an innovative environment
• Strong understanding of the electrical industry in Eastern Canada
• Knowledge of Oracle, CRM standards (eg: Salesforce) and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to lead a team pushing them to action, looking for ways to improve; gains trust by building close relationships and empowers the team by offering freedom within a pre-established framework
• Demonstrated success in building strategic relationships with customers
• Bilingual (French and English)
