Scope of the Position
The Power & Mechatronics Specialist drives revenue growth by developing and executing commercial plans, providing tailored solution-based technical recommendations to our clients. As a technical expert, this position supports internal teams, vendors and customers, fostering a unified sales approach.
Major Responsibilities:
Solution Based Selling
Drive outcome-based selling with a deep understanding of industrial business drivers.
Support sales team to proactively implement business plans.
Promote the value-add of assigned products in competitive situations.
Train internal staff on the sales and commercial aspects of variable frequency drives and motion control products.
Research market conditions, competitive forces, determine market share, and identify opportunities for growth.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new vendor partners to achieve annual business goals.
Technical Subject Matter Expertise:
Possess a solid understanding of low voltage electrical and grounding systems.
Stay up to date in current technology related to variable frequency drives and motion control products, including Emulate3D, motion-related networking, independent cart, and robotics.
Communicate with customers, vendors and employees, providing technical expertise while instilling confidence and credibility.
Participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competencies.
Requirements:
Mechatronics Degree or equivalent combination of skills, experience or education.
5 Years of related experience.
Sales focused with the ability to influence others.
Proficient technical writing & presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at a time.
Self motivated with the ability to work independently.
