Founded in 1979, Liteline Corporation is Canada’s leading and largest privately held lighting manufacturer.  We specialize in LED lighting for North American residential and commercial markets. More specifically, we manufacture complete lines for architectural lighting, hospitality and retail verticals, office, and commercial space, high-rise residential, and more. Located in the vicinity of the high-tech hub in the Greater Toronto Area, Liteline operates a 160,000 sq. ft. office, manufacturing, and warehouse distribution facility. Who we are looking for:

We seek a self-motivated Inside Sales who will work as part of our Sales Team.  The main objective of this role is to maintain a strong relationship with sales agents by creating a smooth process from project design to delivery.  This is done by ensuring that agents receive reliable, timely product information, appropriate inventory is on hand, the product moves seamlessly through the production queue, and orders are out without a hitch.

Reporting to the Western US Regional Sales Manager, the Inside Sales will be responsible for:


  • Working closely with Sales Agents and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on projects and orders, responding to product inquiries, and managing lead times
  • Following up daily with ongoing or future projects
  • Flagging large projects for inventory management
  • Working together with RSM and Accounting department on new account applications
  • Working closely with the RSM and Inside Sales team on pricing requests
  • Reporting daily to RSM on outstanding projects, issues, and orders
  • Keeping up to date on product information and keeping Sales Agents/Customers informed
  • Communicating with Sales Agents on all aspects pertaining to order entry
  • Coordinating with the Production team to meet the deadline
  • Coordinating with the Warehouse team to ensure customer shipping and delivery needs are met
  • Coordinating special items or non-standard items with the Product Development department
  • Troubleshooting and fixing onsite technical issues related to Liteline's products
  • Attending weekly meetings


This is the perfect job for you if you:


  • 2-3 years of experience in quotations and sales with an established track record of growth
  • Knowledge of the lighting industry or a background in electrical products would be considered an asset
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies to attract, grow and maintain relationships
  • Sales skills including but not limited to quotations, relationship development, project management, and product selling
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Advanced negotiation skills, ability to find and win new opportunities
  • Passionate about selling and creating value for customers
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate technical data, features, and benefits
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong computer skills
