We currently have 10 locations throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and are pleased to announce that we will be expanding into Prince Edward Island with our 11th location in Charlottetown!  We are currently recruiting for a Counter/Inside Salesperson to join our new team of dedicated professionals in Charlottetown, PEI.

 What is my role?

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will provide high level customer service to clients and potential customers, initiation of prospect calls and the establishment of ongoing rapport with existing customers.  Additionally, you will:

  • Collaborate with Branch and Corporate Sales team to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Pursuing commercial and/or project sales opportunities and providing competitive sales quotations to same
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to Sales/Branch Manager with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
  • Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare customer sales orders.

You will have sales background with experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or related field considered a strong asset.  Additionally, you will have/be:

  • Strong knowledge of wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

This is a full-time salaried position working out our location in Charlottetown, PEI.  The location will be open from 7:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, but hours outside of these should be expected. Annual base salary will be commensurate with your experience with a range of $35,000-$42,500.
