National Sales Manager

Omnify Lighting is the leader in innovative, custom backlighting for B2B customers. Together we illuminate creativity, with a customer centric approach. Our Head Office is in Markham, Ontario, with additional manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles, South Korea and China.

Position: National Sales Manager 

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing National Sales Manager to help us meet the support needs of our sales agencies and our growth targets. Reporting to the Senior VP of Sales you will be responsible for maximizing our agencies sales team potential including product launches, training, crafting sales plans, and justifying those to plans to the upper management. Our business is built on custom solutions; therefore, details are critical and timely for a successful project. We also value teamwork and jump in to lend a hand at every turn. Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure a strong brand presence for Omnify.
  • Execution of the business plan, monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts to the management team.
  • Managing sales budget.
  • Creating and execute presentations for key business segments, agents and management.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and product development
  • Attend trade shows and events to promote the company's products and services
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitive situation.

Requirements

  • DCS / DEC degree in business administration, marketing or a related field.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • A proven track record working with a sales agency network
  • Experience with CRM software and data analysis tools
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from project plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Ability to travel as required
