 Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Warehouse Associate will be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for organizing the daily workload, making sure pertinent orders are completed in a timely matter (including cutting and picking of sales orders), noting any discrepancies and advising the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor and helping in maintaining a clean, safe and organized environment.

 What Your Day May Look Like:

• Ensure orders are correctly picked and cut.
• Report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager (Supervisor).
• Adhere to final inspection and shipping procedures.
• Follow all safety regulations and report unsafe situations to Manager or Supervisor.
• Participate in the preparation and completion of company inventory counts.
• Take action necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Warehouse experience is an asset
• Ability to load and unload materials.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs, bend, squat and stand.
• Ability to manage an inventory system.
• Ability to operate a forklift is an asset. ECS will provide certification if required.

This job is Full-Time, permanent with an 8-hour shift, 7:30 - 3:30pm
