SALES REPRESENTATIVE, GREATER TORONTO AREA (GTA)

Centrally located, Viscor Inc is Canada's largest independant LED & fluorescent lighting manufacturer. We are growing in many areas and searching for talented individuals to join our team of sales, lighting and manufacturing specialists. SUMMARY OF POSITION

To present and sell company products and services to assigned accounts or regions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visit, present and sell company products and services to assigned accounts or regions.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow up.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Coordinate with inside sales staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities.
  • Participate in sales meetings and marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
  • Visibility requires maintaining and providing a positive and professional company image.
  • All other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • 1-5 years of related sales experience in lighting preferred – excellent product knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Attentive to detail and accurate
  • Excellent Microsoft office application skills –Salesforce experience an asset
  • Valid drivers license
