Director, IT
Main responsabilities
Reporting to the Director, Information Technologies - Melville, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and efficient management of all Head Office and field functions related to Information Technologies. The Incumbent will be a liaison with the Business to ensure compatibility of Business Systems, including understanding business process and identifying improvements and gaps while leveraging Systems. Will collaborate with corporate IT and Business Leader to streamline processes. Has functional knowledge of ERP Systems (OracleR12 or SAP preferred). The Incumbent can quickly recognize and research complex business problems to expedite resolution.
The Incumbent supervises the operation of the Local Area Network. S/he provides training for personnel, oversees the proper functioning of equipment essential to IT support and manages and coordinates projects. The Incumbent maintains an up-to-date technological awareness to effectively support and improve existing business system process. By developing and maintaining a smooth-running, cost-effective service, the Incumbent provides a sound technological base from which essential Company operations can function, thus contributing to their overall success.
