Scope of the Position:
As a part of our Automation Team, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for all aspects of our customers’ buying experience, including sales, support, quotations, order processing, and services.
Major Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying sales opportunities within the assigned geographical area and conduct outbound sales calls. Assist the team with closing sales.
Utilize ERP to provide customer quotations, create vendor purchase orders, and process orders or returns as needed to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Respond to customers’ requests via email and phone, including product selection, pricing, availability, and other customer service-related inquiries.
Act as a technical subject matter expert on products and services.
Support order logistics coordination with applicable departments (e.g., Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Billing).
Attend and assist with the planning of customer and vendor events or promotions as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Post-secondary education from a technical program (Electrical, Mechanical discipline) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Electrical, Pneumatics, and Automation products preferred.
Previous sales experience preferred.
Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive business information.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Previous CRM and ERP experience is an asset.
