Reporting to the Corporate Operations Manager, the Distribution Centre Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the distribution centre.  This includes managing warehouse employees, coordinating freight and courier logistics, and ensuring the facility is maintained to meet operational and safety standards. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and timely distribution of goods while maintaining a safe and organized working environment. They will play a critical role in streamlining supply chain activities to support our business goals and enhance the satisfaction of all stakeholders. 
What you’ll do:

Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
Ensure safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of inventory.
Ensure successful completion of year end inventory while minimizing extra expenses including staff hours.
Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
Prepares & Maintains DC Operating Budget.
Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Manage inbound and outbound freight and courier operations to ensure timely delivery and receipt.
Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and branches to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.
Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities for cost savings or service improvements.
Collaborate with the CFO on the negotiation of courier/freight rates and providers.
Oversee all aspects of building maintenance, cleanliness, and security (Including Head Office).
Coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs, inspections, and routine upkeep.
Ensure the facility complies with health and safety standards, fire codes, and company policies.
Qualifications and key competencies:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and/or warehouse management; with 5 years of experience in a management role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Proven skills to interact effectively with employees to direct workflow, assess performance and assign duties.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and building maintenance is an asset.
Education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field is an asset.

Key Responsibilities: 
With the support of our manufacturing partners and other members of the Composite Power Group team: 

Manage day-to-day customer inquiries (RFQ, RFP, customer service requests) for assigned accounts.

Utilize our customer relationship management (CRM) software to prepare quotes or offers to clientele for day-to-day business or large project bids.

Follow Composite Power Group's sales and customer service business models to cover all bases of successful sales and customer service activity.

Prepare and submit timely quotations and proposals, ensuring both customer satisfaction and Composite Power Group's interests.

Follow up on submitted quotations and proposals and negotiate pricing if necessary.

Acknowledge and process purchase orders received both directly and indirectly on behalf of our Vendors.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or Diploma of College Studies or equivalent experience.

5-7 years of direct experience in the electric utility industry or other relevant experience.

Technically sound, preferably with complementary product experience (substation, transmission, distribution).

Knowledge of various procurement channels (wholesale, distributor, direct order) within the electric utility industry.

Ability to analyze a single line diagram preferred.

Knowledge of engineering drawings, bills of materials, specifications and standards is preferred.

Excellent technology literacy - working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel), Android and/or IOS, CRM. 

Self-motivated, very well organized, meticulous and able to work autonomously.

Demonstrated ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Ability to adapt to changes in business, market, and competitive environments.  

Existing customer or client relationships with electric utilities, engineering firms and /or contractors in Alberta are considered assets.

Reporting to EFC Director of Standards and Government Affairs, the duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for managing EFC’s business sections including administration, meeting operation, coordination and facilitation, and project management.

Pricing Attainment: Champion the adoption of value-based pricing methodologies, leveraging customer segmentation and willingness-to-pay analysis to capture maximum value from products and services.
Manage the national account price adjustment process, which includes updating the price sheets, and sales education.
Price Optimization: Support the development and maintenance of AI supported pricing models and algorithms to segment and optimize prices dynamically.
Change Management: Drive organizational change and adoption of new pricing strategies through effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track pricing performance, conducting regular performance reviews, and adjusting of strategies as needed.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate pricing risks, such as margin erosion, price cannibalization, and competitive threats, through proactive monitoring and strategic interventions.
Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in pricing strategy and contribute thought leadership to the organization through publications, presentations, and industry forums.
Do you qualify? We are seeking:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
Professional Pricing Society (PPS) Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) preferred
6+ Years experience in similar role
Deep understanding of pricing theory, methodologies, and best practices
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies in complex environments.
Proficiency in pricing software or tools (e.g., price optimization software, revenue management systems) is a plus.
Experience with PROS Price Management, Infor CPQ and Microsoft D365 systems is preferable.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modelling, and data visualization tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and align cross-functional teams and senior executives.
Proven ability to drive results through collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking.
Experience in B2B industries, particularly in manufacturing, is highly desirable.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Inside Sales Representative located in Vaughan, Newmarket or the Toronto area. (3 vacancies)
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for promoting products and services to customers.
The ISR is accountable for responding on a timely basis to customer enquiries, making outbound calls to
potential customers and preparing customer quotes. He/she is also responsible for preparing small order
quotes on urgent contracting jobs; offering product knowledge to customers and expediting orders in a
quick and effective manner.
Other duties assigned may include providing assistance to the warehouse and counter areas as
well as at other company events.
