Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Inside Sales Representative located in Vaughan, Newmarket or the Toronto area. (3 vacancies)

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for promoting products and services to customers.

The ISR is accountable for responding on a timely basis to customer enquiries, making outbound calls to
potential customers and preparing customer quotes. He/she is also responsible for preparing small order
quotes on urgent contracting jobs; offering product knowledge to customers and expediting orders in a
quick and effective manner.

Other duties assigned may include providing assistance to the warehouse and counter areas as
well as at other company events.
 

Qualifications 

• Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An ability to write routine
  reports and correspondence to customers, speak effectively over the telephone to customers
  providing appropriate products and services
• Listening - Practices attentive and active listening; has the patience to hear people out; accurately
  restate the opinions of others even when he/she disagrees.
• Learning on the Fly - Learns quickly when facing new problems; is a relentless and versatile learner;
  open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiments and will
  try anything to find solutions; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks; quickly grasps the essence and
  the underlying structure
• Attention to Detail - Detailed oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize work with limited involvement
  from others
• 2-5 years experience in the Canadian Electrical Industry
• Detail-oriented and organized 
• Computer software skills emphasizing Excel and AS400
• Excellent customer service skills. Willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer needs are met
