We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Calgary, Alberta location for a highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.  The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the management of all warehouse operations and facilities.

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper receipt, storage, inventory and distribution of materials.
  • Supervise warehouse personnel/activities of warehouse employees.
  • Ensures warehouse personnel are adequately trained.
  • Engages in shipping, receiving and storing of materials and products.
  • Advise Sales staff of any problems or delays with sales orders, picking slips etc.
  • Report discrepancies to Management.
  • Adhere to final inspection and shipping procedures.
  • Follow all safety regulations and report unsafe situations to Manager.
  • Participate in inventory preparation and in physical inventory count.
  • Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Warehouse experience, minimum 3 years preferred
  • Supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures
  • Ability to load and unload materials
  • Ability to manage an inventory system
  • Operate a forklift

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift, bend, squat and stand
  • Ability to move up to 50 pounds
