We currently have 11 locations throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. We are currently recruiting for a Branch Administrator to join our team of dedicated professionals in Saint John, NB.

What is my role?

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative activities of the branch in the areas including accounts payable, purchasing and billing. Additionally:

  • Assist Branch Management in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all inventory variances are addressed and adjustments made.
  • Ensure cash (including petty cash) is balanced each day and that daily deposits are made to the bank.
  • Post accounts receivable payments and other duties as the credit department requires.
  • Reprint customer invoices
  • Resolve accounts payable purchasing and receiving variances
  • Prepare and adhere to month end requirements
  • Review and approve freight bills for payment
  • Assist in the review of open sales and purchase orders
  • Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels and place orders as required.
  • Open and distribute mail and courier
  • Approve expense invoices for payment

What will you bring to Eddy Group?

As a Branch Administrator you will be responsible to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the purchasing and inventory activities of the organization, by ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.  Additionally, you will have:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in related field preferred. (Bookkeeping, business administration etc.)
  • 3 + years' experience as an Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
  • Proficient use of various office-based software including Windows.
  • Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to balance high volume activities and changing priorities
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

This is a full-time salaried position working out our location in Saint John, NB.  The location will be open from 7:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, but hours outside of these should be expected.  The ability to travel to customers, for meetings, educational seminars and networking events is required. Annual base salary will be commensurate with your experience.
