Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team. Examples of your work and responsibilities would include:
- Creating and editing drawings (e.g. 3D models, manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams)
- Hands-on work including assembly, testing, and evaluation of designs
- Assisting with designs, changes and BOMs
- Preparation of technical documentation such as drawings, and instructions
- Working with production, and engineering personnel to investigate issues with investigate issues with the existing product lines and implementing improvements
- Maintain and operate state of the art sheet metal blanking and bending equipment as part of the engineering team
What we’re looking for:
Applicants should be comfortable with using computers and be mechanically inclined. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Proficient with 3D CAD modeling (e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Mechanical Desktop)
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel would be an asset
- Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
This is a permanent full-time position in Dunnville, Ontario.
