The fifth-generation family business takes pride in providing quality products, customized solutions, and service to their industrial, commercial, and residential customer base. We currently have 10 locations throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and are pleased to announce that we will be expanding into Prince Edward Island with our 11th location in Charlottetown!  We are currently recruiting for an Outside Salesperson to join our new team of dedicated professionals in Charlottetown, PEI.

What is my role? 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will sell our corporate products through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. Additionally:

 

  • You will reach your business targets through the effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites.
  • You will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company.

 

What will you bring to Eddy Group?

As an Eddy Group Ltd Salesperson, your role will be to exemplify our brand image as an ambassador and provide positive brand experiences to all customers. This individual will have sales background with experience in the wholesale distribution field with electrical products. 

 Additionally:

  • 5 years of direct work experience in an external electrical/plumbing/HVAC sales capacity.
  • Technical background in electrical/plumbing/HVAC or related field is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
  • Professional demeanour, selling style, and appearance.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management.
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
  • Strong knowledge of wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

This is a full-time salaried position working out our location in Charlottetown PE.  The location will be open from 7:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, but hours outside of these should be expected.  The ability to travel to customers, for meetings, educational seminars and networking events is required. Annual base salary will be commensurate with your experience, with a range of $45-$65.000.00.
