We are currently looking for a goal-oriented and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Warehouse Attendant reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. The role of Warehouse Attendant is responsible for the receiving, movement, shipping and staging of materials while providing the highest quality of service to all customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently pick, prepare and move items using an RF scanning system
  • Verify accuracy of shipments
  • Package shipments securely on pallets, label and affix all appropriate documentation to shipments
  • Prepare shipping reports and order confirmations
  • Receive, inspect and store materials off containers or trucks using equipment provided (lift truck, walkie and pump truck)
  • Using RF scanner, accurately perform cycle counts as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
  • Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed and all required PPE worn as required
  • Perform general maintenance and safety checks on all equipment
  • Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor from time to time

What you bring

  • Completion of a high school diploma or vocational equivalent
  • 2-3 years experience in an RF warehouse environment, preferably the SAP system
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to physically lift or move 70lbs repetitively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written English) skills
  • Current reach truck certification required; Crown reach truck experience an asset

Salary

  • $23 / hour
