SALES REP JEBCO AGENCIES – WINNIPEG, MB  

 The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the sales process and be able to prospect clients and close deals. They should be well organized and be able to manage the daily operations of assigned accounts. This candidate should be able to uncover new client needs and solutions. The candidate will represent industry leading electrical manufacturers. They will need to have an understanding and experience in the electrical industry. The candidate will be based out of Winnipeg and may operate from both an office and a home office. This candidate will be expected to travel throughout Manitoba and NW Ontario to conduct business.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing accounts by maintaining relationships with engineers, distributors, and contractors in the electrical industry.
• Manage operation of accounts through responding to and assisting key clients, including technical support, supply and demand, and following up on project quotations.
• Generate new leads and tackle existing leads to contribute to business growth.
• Work with engineers to develop their project specifications around our products
• Work with company principals to develop market strategies
• Provide training and product presentations to engineers, distributors, and contractors
• Travel to cities within the region to conduct business
• Attend trade shows and relevant conferences

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in technical sales
• Experience in the electrical industry will be considered an asset
• Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of full sales processes
• Experience utilizing customer relationship management software
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
