Quotation Specialist

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quotation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our project's success by preparing accurate and competitive quotations for lighting projects. The Quotation Specialist will work closely with the Projects~Quotation Manager to ensure that all quotes are precise and align with both client expectations and company standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare detailed quotations for lighting projects based on technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation. 

• Analyze project requirements and assess the costs of materials, labor, and manufacturing to ensure competitive pricing. 

• Coordinate with sales, technical teams, and suppliers to gather accurate product and pricing information. 

• Respond to client inquiries regarding quotations, providing clarifications and adjustments as necessary. 

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing strategies, and product developments. 

• Assist the Projects~Quotation Manager in developing and refining quoting procedures and practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 

• Review and assess vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. 

• Ensure all quotations are submitted within specified timelines and are compliant with contractual obligations and company policies. 
• Maintain detailed records of quotations, responses, and feedback to continuously improve the quoting process. 

Reporting Line: 

• This role reports directly to the Projects~Quotation Manager. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Proven experience in quotations or a similar role, preferably in the lighting or manufacturing industry. 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
