eCommerce Application Administrator

The eCommerce Systems Administrator provides system administrative support with technical and functional day-to-day support of the eCommerce system, testing and deployment of system enhancements, including integrations with SX Enterprise (ERP), SalesForce, and other internal systems.

Job Duties

  • Lead efforts to maximize the utilities and features of our E-Commerce system
  • Main point of contact for systems-based end-user questions, problem solving, and troubleshooting
  • Establish the needs of internal users and monitor access and security by role
  • Gather pertinent information regarding updates, changes and maintenance from external vendors in order to proactively manage impacts to internal data processes and users
  • Provide notifications to internal users regarding changes and updates along with required training, knowledgebase material, etc.
  • Release management – investigating and project managing major releases to determine impacts and actions required for a smooth integration
  • Establishing and running required reports for various departments
  • Maintaining a history of all tracking and follow up with detailed issue logs that show root cause and resolution
  • Systems integration with SX.Enterprise, SalesForce, Ariba, etc.
  • Collaboration and support with internal departments to support systems utilization and understanding
  • Provide back-up and collaborative support for other business systems as assigned
  • Build strong relationships with external software vendors
  • Create knowledgebase articles, training material for internal users
  • Creating end-user guides and quick start documents to align with processes
  • Scheduling and delivering new user and refresher training for all users.
  • This position will assist with the periodic evaluation of the E-Commerce system disaster recovery plans & procedures.
  • Scripting (PowerShell, JavaScript, Python…)

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience (3 – 5 years)
  • Strong Project Management and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent at prioritizing, multitasking and organizing
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem resolution
