Customer Service Representative (Bilingual English/French) 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Receive and process sales orders from customers via telephone, email, and/or fax. 
  • Collaborate with the Reno Lighting team to ensure customer satisfaction by eliminating errors and addressing customer needs (e.g., price sheets, credits/rebills). 
  • Respond to customer inquiries with accurate and detailed information. 
  • Accurately input orders and provide updates to clients (e.g., backorders, split orders, timed deliveries). 
  • Work closely within a team structure, supporting Outside Account Managers and the Warehouse team. 

Transactions: 

  • Efficiently manage customer orders using internal systems and customer purchase orders. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience, such as upselling and promoting specialized services. 
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by working closely with the sales and projects teams. 
  • Identify additional customer needs and communicate opportunities to relevant internal teams. 
  • Address customer complaints by providing timely solutions and alternatives, ensuring satisfactory resolutions. 
  • Leverage internal resources to effectively solve problems. 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain knowledge of product availability (e.g., packaging, lead times, inventory). 
  • Request stock transfers and order shipments as necessary. 
  • Complete administrative tasks and special projects assigned by the Customer Service Manager. 

 

Technical Competencies: 

  • Post-secondary education, such as a College Diploma in Business or equivalent, is preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service and/or business administration. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of QuickBooks or sales processing software is an asset. 
  • Previous experience in LED lighting, electrical wholesale, or a related field is an asset. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and French are required. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. 

 

Job Type: 

  • Full-time, Permanent
